Every gift to In Our Arms Caregiver Network is an act of love toward a caregiver who is carrying more than most people know. Caregivers deserve to feel seen, connected, and resourced, and your generosity makes that possible.
63 million American adults are caregivers. They manage medications, coordinate appointments, advocate during hospital stays, navigate insurance, develop financial strategies, and make long-term healthcare decisions for the people they love. They are exhausted and isolated.
In Our Arms Caregiver Network identifies, connects, and resources caregivers of individuals with disabilities.
We identify caregivers through community outreach and nonprofit partnerships, connect them through restorative gatherings and peer support, and resource them with conferences and practical tools. Together, we strengthen caregiver well-being, reduce isolation, and build long-term resilience for families navigating disability.
Robert Christopher Henderson
son of Juli and James “Chris” Henderson, faced a rare mitochondrial disease and CHD2 myoclonic encephalopathy with extraordinary courage during his eighteen years of life, enduring intractable seizures; progressive loss of motor function and comprehension; innumerable hospitalizations; and multiple operations. His journey was defined by love, laughter, and music, inspiring all who knew him. The Henderson family continues Robert’s legacy by supporting caregivers and their loved ones in the disability community.
