Hi, I'm Juli.
It’s great to meet you! I am a voice mentor, author, and advocate for families navigating disability, caregiving, and grief. My journey deepened when our youngest son, Robert, passed away at eighteen from a rare mitochondrial disease. In response, I founded In Our Arms, first as a caregiver's journal and community space offering hope, healing, and connection to thousands walking similar paths. I later launched In Our Arms Caregiver Network to expand this mission, supporting caregivers and their families through Caregiver Connection events (in-person and virtual), public engagements, and resource development.
I use my voice to amplify others, especially caregivers and individuals with special needs. Through writing, public speaking, and nonprofit board service, I strive to honor stories that are often overlooked. As the owner of JH Voice Studio, LLC, I teach vocalists, consult with executive speakers, and mentor creatives seeking clarity, confidence, and emotional resonance.
In honor of Robert’s legacy, our family established The Robert Henderson Legacy Fund at Morgan’s. In the future, this fund will support programs that empower caregivers and celebrate individuals with disabilities. As the first named memorial endowment at Morgan’s, it reflects the inclusive vision of the organization and stands as a testament to the lasting impact of a life filled with love.

In Our Arms
Caregiver Network
supporting caregivers, championing disabilities
In Our Arms Caregiver Network identifies, connects, and resources caregivers of individuals with disabilities.
We identify caregivers through community outreach and nonprofit partnerships, connect them through restorative gatherings and peer support, and resource them with conferences and practical tools. Together, we strengthen caregiver well-being, reduce isolation, and build long-term resilience for families navigating disability.

ROBERT HENDERSON,
son of Juli and James “Chris” Henderson, faced a rare mitochondrial disease and CHD2 myoclonic encephalopathy with extraordinary courage during his eighteen years of life, enduring intractable seizures; progressive loss of motor function and comprehension; innumerable hospitalizations; and multiple operations. His journey was defined by love, laughter, and music, inspiring all who knew him.
To honor Robert and the caregivers who played a vital role in ensuring his life was filled with meaningful experiences, the Henderson Family established this fund. Its mission is to support programs and initiatives that empower caregivers and celebrate individuals with disabilities, reflecting the inclusive vision of Morgan’s.
This fund is the first named memorial endowment at Morgan’s and serves as a powerful testament to the lasting impact of a life filled with love.
