Quiet Strength Book Release!
I am so excited to share that Quiet Strength: Inspirational Coloring Book for Caregivers is available to purchase now on Amazon!
My daughters taught me several years ago that coloring could make a beautiful difference in my busy schedule. I didn't believe I could sit long enough to really enjoy coloring an illustrated page ... until I tried it!
As caregivers, we need quiet moments that are our own. Whether you are a recovering caregiver, a caregiver right in the middle of the journey, or a new caregiver struggling to hold hope in your heart, this coloring book is for you.
I wrote this coloring book specifically for caregivers; it was not simply adapted for them. It offers inspirational adult coloring pages with illustrated designs and real reflections from my caregiving journey. I lived each one of these seasonal words as I cared for our son, Robert, for eighteen years.
Quiet Strength pairs twelve meaningful words with my reflections: Renew, Comfort, Hope, Bloom, Grace, Connection, Brave, Self-Care, Support, Stillness, Gratitude, and Light. I have blended these words with large-print illustrations that are easy to read before you begin to color.
Inside this inspirational coloring book for caregivers, you will find:
Twelve large-print, word-based illustrations by internationally published artist Jill De Haan
Colored sample designs by artist Jeannie Hartman, to inspire your own color choices
A blank companion page after each design, so you can create a page of your own in your own colors
Personal reflections and simple self-care ideas from a caregiver, not a theorist
A calming way to relieve stress between caregiving demands
A word definition to anchor each theme in something concrete
A gentle, low-pressure format built for short pockets of time, not a big project
This isn't about finishing a picture. It's about giving caregivers, the ones who are always tending to someone else, a few quiet pages that are just for them.
Quiet Strength makes a meaningful gift for caregivers, parents, siblings, grief support groups, or anyone walking alongside a loved one through illness or disability.
I hope you will join me in discovering the words, the moments, and the colors I created just for you and your loved ones.
